As a fragrance industry leader and brand expert with over 18 years of experience advising leading beauty companies in London, Paris and New York, Paul established Austin Advisory Group in 2009 to help iconic brands connect to their customers through meaningful, inspiring, and authentic brand storytelling.

His early work took him on a journey back to the source of the scent world. Working with his team of award-winning documentarians, Paul created a series of short cinematic films revealing the journey of a fragrance: from Seed to Scent. The films, shot in growing communities and flower fields across the world, reveal the craft, characters, and untold stories of a subject steeped in history and untapped potential.

Inspired by the beauty, skills, and cultural traditions at the root of his métier, Paul’s vision for his company quickly crystallized—to inspire people with the truth and craft found at the source of the brands they love … through nuanced and modern storytelling techniques.

Today, Paul and his team create and express these stories for brands across multiple product categories, including beauty, homewares, jewelry, automotive, and fashion.

An Australian who has lived in Naples, London, Paris, and Amsterdam, Paul has called New York City home for the past 20 years.
